Flex Pipes

Flex Pipes

LOGSTOR have a range of flexible pipes to choose from, with a range of factors determining which is the most suitable for each project.

  • SteelFlex
  • PexFlex
  • AluFlex
  • Cuflex

Diffusion tightness:

All types are diffusion-tight, meaning no oxygen can diffuse out from or into the service pipe. Pipes with aluminium diffusion barriers prevent gases diffusing out through the outer casing; therefore, the insulating property is maintained throughout the service of the pipe.

Form Stability:

SteelFlex, AluFlex and CuFlex are form stable, meaning once they have been shaped to fit the trench they will retain this shape, while PexFlex has a certain bounce effect.

Pressure & Temperature: This varies by product.

  • SteelFlex can handle pressure up to 25 bar and a continuous operating temperature of 120°C.
  • PexFlex can handle pressure up to 10 bar and a continuous operating temperature of 85°C
  • AluFlex can handle pressure up to 10 bar and a continuous operating temperature of 95°C
  • CuFlex can handle pressure up to 16 bar and a continuous operating temperature of 120°C

Single or Twin pipe: AluFlex, PexFlex and CuFlex are available as both single and twin pipes, while SteelFlex is only available as single pipe.
